	My work explores the aspects of human nature which connect us all, such as loss, love, anger, hope and harsh reality. I incorporate old used or discarded materials, not only because of the sense of history they embody, but also as a statement about the throwaway culture we live in and how it effects our surroundings. Each piece tells a story of its own through the very careful, deliberate placement of particular objects, images and bits of text.
